Case Management
HAPPY NEW YEAR
Here are some updates to what has been going on at
TwinEngines…
We continue to make enhancements and improvements to our Case
Management system. This technology is present in all of our web
based products, so they all benefit from these enhancements. For
example, we've changed the buttons on the case detail page to give
you easier access to attached documents, space for more
customizable buttons, and the ability to quickly create a new case
for the Soldier you are currently working on.
If you are interested in taking a look at our Case Management
system just let me know. Would be glad to do an in depth demo via
DCS any time and can also provide evaluation licenses for the
system. The initial cost is just $2500, so you can get up and
running on the system with a quick credit card purchase.

PERMS Integrator
There is a new version of PERMS Integrator available now that
fixes an issue that we found with running it on some Server 2012R2
systems. Some states, instead of installing PERMS Integrator on a
workstation, have set up a Server 2012R2 system and have their
users remote into the system to export orders.
Discharges
If you haven't moved over to the new version of Discharges, I'd
like to encourage you to do so. This new system has lots of new
features and functionality in it. If you are interested in a DCS to
train your staff and help migrate to the new system, contact me and
we can set this up.
ETrans Manager
We now have the new version of ETrans Manager available. This
version is a total revamp of ETrans to run on top of our Case
Management technology. You can now create custom activities and
processes for all transactions that come into ETrans. This includes
both the gains transactions and the MILPO Orders transactions. So,
for example, you could create a task to review all GRCH
transactions, or have tasks assigned to units involved with a TRF
transaction.
This release has been through some limited BETA testing in a
couple of states so far and looks good. We hope to have it
officially released soon and you will need to transition to the new
system. If you are interested in trying out the BETA and/or doing a
DCS session to train your users on the new system, just let me
know. .
