Software Applications Support Specialist
TwinEngines, Inc, a specialist in creating solutions for small
and mid-market companies who participate in the manufacturing value
chain in the Southeast, is actively searching for a talented and
hard-working Software Applications Support
Specialist to join our team.
Your primary responsibility is to work directly with customers
to maintain and enhance Windows and Web software
applications. Learn and work daily with a broad set of
development styles including Windows Forms, Mobile Clients, and
Touch screen environments, in addition to ecommerce, web portals,
and dynamic content web sites.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Customer relations skills to determine problems and document
issues and requests
- Ability to participate in full software development life cycle
analyzing requirements and developing complete applications (code
and documentation)
- Microsoft Visual Studio (VB.Net, C#, ASP.Net) and SQL
Server
- Flexibility to work in a team environment or as an individual
contributor
- Bachelors degree, and at least 2 years of software engineering
experience
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Microsoft software development certifications
- Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure such as switches, routers,
firewalls, and server setup and configuration
- Basic knowledge of application hosting, such as SSL, DMZ and
load testing

- Communicating directly with customers to determine
requirements, develop solutions, and ensure customer
satisfaction.
- Delivering the right solution for the customer when given a
diverse set of technologies and problems
- Troubleshooting applications and performance issues
- Developing new and exciting Windows and Web applications
- Deploying code and testing code deployment
- Updating support documentation
