TRANSPROC to Electronically Transfer Data to DMDC
Starting in 2014, TRANSPROC, which produces the DD-214, will
begin pushing data electronically to the DMDC for VA claims to be
worked more quickly. It is now recommended that starting in
2014, you do all your new DD-214s through TRANSPROC so as to not
delay processing of VA claims. The DD-214 functionality
within our system will remain, so you can use it as a worksheet
tool prior to entering the data into TRANSPROC if you would like,
or to view previous DD-214s created within the system. Moving
forward in 2014 however, you should create all new DD-214s within
TRANSPROC.

PERMS Integrator
The RCAS 7.0 Release introduced a few problems with PERMS
Integrator. One issue caused PERMS Integrator to not have an
effective date for any Amendment and Revocation orders. We had to
change PERMS Integrator to use the Date Published as the effective
date for any Amendment and Revocation orders. We also had issues
with the RPAM NGB23 statements. The new version slightly changed
the RTF formatting that PERMS Integrator has to parse through to
find the index data and was causing errors.
We've fixed both these issues and a new release is now
available.
TwinEngines Web Application Suite Updates
Several fixes and enhancements have been made to the TwinEngines
Web Application Suite, which include the Awards Tracking,
Evaluations, Recruiting, Retention and Enlisted Promotions, and
Case Management systems. See the release notes for a complete list
of all new functionality and fixes that are included in this
release.
